LogSpec keeps the conversion step close to the pilot: your airline export is read, mapped, and transformed in the browser.
Import and conversion
Selecting a log file starts browser-based parsing and review. The selected file is not uploaded merely because you chose it. When you save reviewed flights in Pilot Suite, the resulting flight records are stored with your account. Documents you add are uploaded to private account storage.
What the service stores
With an account, the service stores identity and access records: your email, optional profile information, saved Pilot Suite records and documents, plan and subscription status, and policy acceptance records. Stripe stores payment and billing records needed to process your subscription.
Downloads and backups
Converted files are downloaded to the location managed by your browser. LogSpec does not automatically back them up. Keep your source exports and finished logbook files in a secure, backed-up location that you control.
Deletion requests
Delete local files through your operating system or browser downloads folder. To request deletion of account records, use Support or the privacy contact listed in the Privacy policy.
